I am looking for someone to take over my apartment lease in the Connecticut Heights Apartments complex by 1st of July. As I have to move back to Germany for business reasons, there is also the potential to purchase some of my furniture, such as bookshelves or sofa, or even my TV or bed, for a good deal. The studio was renovated with new appliances in the kitchen 1.5 years ago and has a beautiful view over DC from the 11th floor. All utilities (heat, electricity, water) are included in the rent, and to relax in the summer you can use the sun deck and the outside pool, which belong to the complex.
The apartment complex has a split-level fitness center and is animal friendly. In addition to the gym in the basement, you are also given access to the indoor pool in the complex across the street. The whole complex is located within walking distance of the Van Ness and Tenleytown/AU red line Metro stations and several grocery stores including Whole Foods Market and Giant. The Capital Beltway, I-495, is only a 10-min drive away. Rock Creek Park, with its 32 miles of trails and paths, is accessible by a 10-min walk, and a large public pool, free of use to DC residents, is also nearby. I am happy to offer a tour of the apartment at a pre-arranged time in the evening or at the weekend.
